  Saturday, Jan.27, 2018...my doctor called in a script for flu medication as I tested positive for the deadly strain of flu. I also have severe hyper-trophic cardio myopathy. Since Rite-aid was out of my atnenol last week, I had to pick up that med in Walmart in Matamores first. (Sixty mile round trip from my home) Then went to Rite-aid for my flu medication only to find out they are out of it and I would have to wait until some time on Monday for the medicine. I was told by the pharmacy, attendant, Ms. Christine Trusky, that I should call my doctor and have him send the script somewhere else if I wanted it because they will not order anything over the weekend. I asked sternly "Are people not allowed to get sick over the weekend? And why wasn't I called at home? And that she should call my script in to Walmart for me." She said, " she didn't have the number." I said, "well get it!" After she starred smugly at me. I told her I was going to inform the State Board of Pharmacies and only then did she make the call. A simple thing for her to do. I then had to track back to Matamores for the medicine. RITE-AID IS NOT A CANDY STORE! I am lucky to have a car and the presence of mind to know this was a serious situation. I am thankful to GOD that this did not turn into a matter for the undertaker and lawyers who would have had to deal with what might have had a very grave outcome.

  I'm sorry but this pharmacy right next to Walmart is the worst. Again for the second time WRONG MEDS! Really??? My Dr. can call in my meds at 9 am and still not done by 4. New pharmacy coming in thank God.

  Pharmacy closes at 6 or is SUPPOSED to. Got here at 5, script was called in a little after 4. Come in, pharmacy is closed. ????? Why is the pharmacy closing early after we called in for meds needed? Why is it closing early regardless?

  Showed up at 9:35pm, place already closed with gates down and lights off. Should be open to 10pm. This is a pharmacy where people depend on them for healthcare products and sometimes during very critical time! This is unacceptable! Whoever is not following posted operating hours should be fired! Thank God wise across 739 is an honest operation and saved the day. Rite aid should be ashamed of themselves for the quality of service they provide to local residents.
